  more rarely ος, ον Aristophanes Comicus “Plutus” 547: (see. αἰτία) :— culpable, responsible, ἐπεὶ οὔ τί μοι αἴτιοί εἰσιν Ilias Homerus Epicus “Illiad” 1.153, compare Bacchylides Lyricus 10.34, Herodotus Historicus 7.214 : comparative αἰτιώτερος Thucydides Historicus 4.20: Sup., τοὺς αἰτιωτάτους the most guilty, Herodotus Historicus 6.50; αἰ. τινος prev. author 3.52.
