  (compare ἀπαείρω), future ἀπᾱρῶ: aorist 1 ἀπῆρα Euripides Tragicus “Iphigenia Taurica” 967 : perfect ἀπῆρκα Thucydides Historicus 8.100, Aeschines Orator 2.82: Ion. imperfect ἀπαιρέεσκον, variant {ἀπαίρεσκον}, Herodotus Historicus 1.186 :—lift off, and so, carry off, take away, τὰ ξύλα prev. passage ; remove, τί τινος Euripides Tragicus “Orestes” 1608; τινὰ Σπάρτης prev. author “Hel.” 1671; in “IT” 967 , perhaps get rid of, νικῶν ἀπῆρα φόνια πειρατήρια:—passive, ἀπαίρεται τράπεζα Achaeus Tragicus 17.5; ἀπό τινος NT.Matt.9.15.
