aorist ἐξένευσα, turn the head out of its natural position, of a horse, ἐ. ἄνω to toss the head, Xenophon Historicus “de Equitandi ratione” 5.4 ; τῇ κεφαλῇ ἐκνεύσας by a side-movement with the head, of the wild boar, prev. author “Cyn.” 10.12, cf. LXX.2Ki.23.16.
