Aeolic dialect οἰκτίρρω Herodianus Grammaticus Gr. 2.558: hence οἰκτῑρω is probably from οἰκτιρ-ψω, and οἰκτίρετε ῐ in “Anthologia Graeca” 7.267 (Posidippus Comicus) is an error: but the Attic. future is οἰκτερῶ accusative to Hdn.Gr. 2.559.
