  (πω, ποτέ) ever yet, in early Epic dialect always with negative and best written divisim, οὐ γάρ πώ ποτέ μ᾽ ὧδέ γ᾽ ἔρως φρένας ἀμφεκάλυψεν Ilias Homerus Epicus “Illiad” 3.442, compare Hesiodus Epicus “Opera et Dies” 650, etc. (referring to future, οὐκ ἄν πώ ποτ᾽ ἐγώ.. ἐλθοίμην Batrachomyomachia 178); usually preceded by neg. in post- Homerus Epicus writers, but πώ ποτ᾽ οὐδαμοῖ Aristophanes Comicus “Vespae” 1188: with future in later Gr., κακία οὐχ εὑρεθήσεται ἐν σοὶ π . LXX.1Ki.25.28 ; οὐ μὴ διψήσει π.
