Populier (Populus euphratica Olivier)

De wilg welke in Ps 137:2 en Ezech. 17:5 wordt genoemd is niet zoals in veel oudere commentaren (Gesenius: Ps. 137:2 where the Salix Babylonica, Linn. is to be understood, with its pendulous foliage, a symbol of grief and mourning; Germ.
