__I of persons, meet with, fall in with, τινι Herodotus Historicus 4.14, Aristophanes Comicus “Nubes” 608 (troch.), “PTeb.” same place, etc.; so μοίρᾳ τοῦδ᾽ ἐχθίονι σ. Sophocles Tragicus “Philoctetes” 682 (Lyric poetry); σ. νεκροῖς ἀσπαίρουσι Antipho Orator 2.4.5; ξυνέτυχεν ἐξιόντι μοι ἄνθρωπος ἀποφράς Eupolis Comicus 309: abs., Sophocles Tragicus “Oedipus Tyrannus” 122 ; but οἱ συντυγχάνοντες, of two persons meeting, Herodotus Historicus 1.134, compare Plato Philosophus “Timaeus” 56d.
