__II.1 a sense involving Time or Occasion, ὅ. τιν᾽ ἴδῃ Theognis Elegiacus 922, compare 999, Xenophon Historicus “Historia Graeca (Hellenica)” 3.3.6; σιγᾶν θ᾽ ὅ. δεῖ καὶ λέγειν τὰ καίρια Aeschylus Tragicus “Choephori” 582, compare “Eu.” 277 ; οὐκ ἔσθ᾽ ὅ. there is no case in which, i.e. in no case. Sophocles Tragicus “Oedipus Tyrannus” 448, “Aj.” 1069, Euripides Tragicus “Hercules Furens” 186, Demosthenes Orator 3.35 ; so ἔστιν ὅ.; as a question, prev. author 18.22.
__II.2 of Cause, whereas, Herodotus Historicus 1.68, 4.195, Antipho Orator 1.7; ὅ. γὰρ ἐγὼ.. ὁμολογῶ Demosthenes Orator 21.205 ; ὅκου γε, Latin quandoquidem or quippe, Herodotus Historicus 7.118; ὅπου γε Xenophon Historicus “Institutio Cyri (Cyropaedia)” 2.3.11, etc.
